Who we are

The Ezra Tribe is a digital library of biblical resources based in Nairobi, Kenya. For privacy questions, email hello@theezratribe.org.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the site and serve the community:

• Newsletter: your email address when you subscribe.
• Contact form: your name, email, subject, and message.
• Technical data: basic server logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

We use this information to send the newsletter you asked for, reply to messages, improve the site, and protect against abuse. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies

The public site does not rely on advertising cookies. If you sign in to Ops (our private admin), we store a session cookie so you stay logged in. You can block cookies in your browser; the public pages will still work.

How long we keep it

Newsletter emails are kept while your subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, we mark the address inactive so we do not email you again, unless you resubscribe. Contact messages are kept so we can follow up and keep a record of correspondence. You can ask us to delete your information by emailing hello@theezratribe.org.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time on our unsubscribe page, or by emailing us. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
